My Favorite Financial Websites
Investopedia.com
I started using this website to get more into finance. It offers a variety of weekly email newsletters including one that introduces financial vocabulary. If you’re gonna play the game you gotta know the rules. Vocabulary helps. Learning and growing is as easy as opening an email every few days.
PRO: It’s easy to check the emails during a free moment and learn new ideas to grow our money.Another great section they offer are quick, well-illustrated, educational videos on different financial words and concepts. This site is one of my favorites to this day.
Finviz
Financial Visualizations is a great source for connecting charts and graphs with the numbers. Covering everything from best performing sectors to insider trading, this site is loaded with information.
J.P. Morgan’s – Guide to The Markets
Here’s a slideshow of charts and graphs from J.P. Morgan illustrating all kinds of research including:
– Returns — Valuations — Sector Performance
— Bull & Bear Markets — GDP — Federal Finances
Every slide won’t be for you but they’re broken into sections and easy to navigate.
Check it out and you’re bound to find some that interest you and help you grow your financial literacy.
Berkshire Hathaway –
Shareholder Annual Letters
It’s almost guaranteed somewhere along your investing journey you’ll hear the recommendation to read Warren Buffett’s annual shareholder letters for Berkshire Hathaway.
In case you’re interested, read away.
Seeking Alpha
Crowd-sourced articles and research on stock investments can be a great lead generator for your own stock portfolio. Check it out and see what people are saying.
A number of articles are now behind a paywall but there are still many free ones and my favorite is to read the comments at the end to see what ideas other investors lend to the article.
